College Credit Plus (CCP)

College Credit Plus (CCP) 

CCP may be used for both high school and college credit.

Students must meet the college readiness criteria for acceptance at the college in which they apply.

Remedial courses are not allowed.

*In order to be able to receive funding you must submit to the state by April 1st or Nov 1st.  

Steps to apply for CCP: Please click on bolded words for forms. 

1) Fill out the college application and the Transcript Release Form along with the $3 transcript fee.

2) Students must be eligible for College Credit Plus participation based on assessment exam scores OR GPA. Students with an unweighted, cumulative GPA of 3.0 will automatically qualify for CCP at LCCC without further assessment.

3) Submit The Intent to Participate Form by April 1 or November 1. The Intent to Participate  Form will be part of the online funding application. There will be no separate paper form.

4) Create the OH/ID account and apply for funding by April 1 or November 1 at 5:00pm. The acceptance letter from the college is needed as well as the number of credit hours anticipated.

Credit in escrow: Students may take courses at a college for college credit only.  Families are responsible for the tuition.
